Once in a great while you can come up with a pattern you like the very first time, but frankly, chances are not in your favor. We’ve been there. We developed our patterns over the years and offer them so that you can get started right away rather than having to go through the process of developing your own. Decoys made from these patterns work, in the field and in competition. They are printed on 24# blueline paper.
The photo above could be a floating realistic decoy, but is in fact a real duck. These little guys are plentiful in our area, though they prefer protected waters rather than open salt water like their larger associates. Quick and colorful, they are also among the first to head south as the weather begins to turn in the Fall. If you're looking into carving decoys and really don't want to contend with a large decoy, this Greenwing Teal is a really good choice for a start.
