This is the lofting of the 15' pulling boat, the vertical keeled, model. Like our other loftings, this is a simgle blueline sheet, and measures 42" by about 19' overall. It's printed on 24# paper. The photo above is of Freedom 2. She's the same overall length as the plank keeled model, and shares the same heights and halfbreadths, except for those dealing with the immediate vicinity of the keel. This boat features a vertical keel backed by a keelson. She's a superb pulling boat. This is the way they were built for lobstermen along this coast back around the turn of the last century. The photo below is of Orren Ames, working out of a Merrill Young Double Ender just outside Matinicus Harbor. The double ender in this lofting has more sheer and is about a foot longer.
